SPD Performance introduces the newest evolution of their proven HX Series platform — the HX Series Pre-Axle Dump. Built specifically for off-road enthusiasts, this system eliminates the vulnerable over-axle tailpipes for maximum departure angle, ground clearance, and durability, while retaining full factory valve control.

Based on their flagship HX Series Valved Muffler Upgrade [P/N FHXFR21V], the Pre-Axle Dump is meticulously engineered for trucks running aftermarket high-performance downpipes, Alpha Cats, or headers.

• Off-Road Focused Pre-Axle Dump Design:  Eliminates over-axle tailpipes that get crushed on rocks, whoops, and tight departure angles. Maximum clearance for long-travel and chase racks. 
• Dual Valved True Bypass Technology: Unlike single-body aftermarket systems, our isolated dual-muffler / bypass design prevents harmonic vibration and drone. Truly quiet in Quiet/Normal.
• Retains All 4 Factory Exhaust Modes: Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja function exactly as Ford intended — no valve reprogramming needed. 
  • Quiet and Normal Modes, exhaust is routed through our straight-through HX Series muffler — producing a deep, refined tone without rasp, drone, or harmonic vibration. HOA-safe and perfect for early morning cold starts and long highway drives.
  • Sport and Baja Modes, the dual valves open and bypass the muffler for maximum flow and an aggressive, exotic note that the Gen3 platform is known for when paired with SPD downpipes.

• Factory-style dual turn-down dumps with reinforced hanger brace (as shown)
